Pizza Hut's Online Delivery
Two thumbs up for Pizza Hut's Online Pizza Delivery. If you live in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Columbus, Ohio, or Kansas City, fresh, hot pizza is just a click away. You can play around building your pizza as much as you want without a frustrated order-taker getting annoyed, and the delivery time for me was just under 20 minutes, as opposed to the usual 30. If you don't live in those areas, though, you'll have to settle for virtual pizza I put up a new Black Jack game for you to play with while I recover from strep throat. Or you can play Asteroids or checkers or concentration or slots. If you're looking for news, click here. Permanent link Tell a friend

Racketeering Explained I've never had a full understanding of the concept of racketeering, knowing only that a lot of mobsters get sent up the river on racketeering charges. Dictionary.com defines a racketeer as: "A person who commits crimes such as extortion, loansharking, bribery, and obstruction of justice in furtherance of illegal business activities." Sounds like pretty general mob stuff. LectLaw ('Lectric Law Library) lists 33 activities that are considered racketeering, ranging from sports bribery to "white slave traffic". It's quite a list of interesting charges. I put up a headline feed page using the keyword "racketeering". For a couple of days the headlines will, no doubt, be dominated by James Traficant stories, but there are plenty of interesting items to keep you going if you look closely. These days you'll find as many public servants charged with racketeering as you will mobsters. Permanent link Tell a friend
