| Chocolate Toffee Crescent Bars |
8 oz. can Crescent dinner rolls
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup margarine
1- 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped or halved
1 cup milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Separate crescent dough into two large rectangles. Place in ungreased 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Gently press dough to cover bottom of pan and seal perforations.
In small saucepan, combine brown sugar and margarine. Boil 1 minute. Pour evenly over dough and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 375° for 14-18 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate pieces, slightly swirling pieces as they melt. Cool and cut into bars. |
